This is an update for those of you who read my recent post about Henry Granju (son of writer extraordinaire Katie Allison Granju), who was struggling to recover from an assault and drug overdose. Sadly after leaving ICU and moving toward what looked like a recovery, his health took a turn for the worse and he died Monday May 31 in the arms of his mom and dad.

This is heartbreaking. I am so sorry for her son and her family. This is the worst fear of any parent. This is also why I have found it even hard to read about. But I appreciate your sharing it Emily.
